Jerry Ferrell Doyle

Jerry Ferrell Doyle, 81, of Batesville, AR passed away on Monday, December 4, 2023 surrounded by family.  He was born March 26, 1942 in Saffell, AR to Ernest and Virgie Mize Doyle.  Jerry was a retired cattle and poultry farmer and was the 1988 Independence County Farm Family of the Year.

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers Junior and Jimmy Doyle, and two sisters, Harimlee Huskey, and Lenette Melton.

He was survived by his loving wife Janice Russell Doyle; three daughters, Denise Croom (Greg) of Cave City, AR, Carrie Waggoner of Cabot, AR, and Kristina Mott (Earl) of Cabot, AR; four grandchildren, Veronica Arie (Billy Joe), Blane Waggoner, Harrison Mott, and Madeline Mott; and one great granddaughter, Joey Arie; four brothers, GH Doyle, Eddie Ray Doyle, Bobby Doyle, and Danny Keith Doyle; and one sister Linda Lee Smart; and many more family and friends who will miss him greatly.

Visitation will be Saturday, December 9, 2023 from 10:30 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at the Qualls Batesville Funeral Service Chapel.

Graveside services will be held Saturday, December 9, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at the Union Cemetery in Saffell with Greg Croom officiating.

Pallbearers are Ernest Ray Doyle, Jody Doyle, Lucas Doyle, Greg Huskey, Jeff Weaver, Peyton Weaver with Honorary Pallbearers Denver Huskey and Keith Mize.

In accordance with Jerry’s wishes, the family respectfully request no flowers.
