Jerry Lynn Ferguson

Jerry Ferguson, 85, of Salado passed away on Sunday, April 2, 2023 in Pleasant Plains.  He was born November 24, 1937 in Newark to Joseph and Beulah Ferguson.  He was a former employee of GDX of Batesville.  He enjoyed gardening, watching westerns, spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. 

He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Mary Lou Neeley as well as half-brothers and sisters.

Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Dorothy Ferguson of the home; three daughters, Pat Ferguson, Teresia McGhee and Donna Lynn Holder; five grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be on Thursday, April 6, 2023 at 2:00PM at Qualls Batesville Funeral Service Chapel with Bro. Johnny Abbott officiating. 

Burial will follow in the Egner Cemetery located in Salado

Visitation will be on Wednesday, April 5, 2023 from 5:00PM – 7:00PM at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be: Bryson Huckabee, Austin Mathis, Bryce Hoofman, Nate Marsh, Greg Huckabee and Ronnie Brister, Jr.

Tyler Huckabee will serve as an Honorary Pallbearer
