Joe Rogers

Joe Rogers, 63 of Desha passed away, Wednesday, November 17, 2021.  He was born October 24, 1958 to Joe Herzig and Ida Lou “Buffy” Rogers.  He was a retired car salesman and had worked for Arkansas Eastman and Coca Cola both in Batesville.  He was of the Christian faith.

He was preceded in death by his father and stepmother, Joe and Shirley Herzig; his grandmother, Mabel Long and a cousin, Frankie Felton.

Survivors include one son, Andy Rogers (Peyton) of Cherokee Village; three daughters, Nichole Rogers of Drasco, Magan Rogers and Ashleigh Rogers both of Batesville; his mother, Buffy Rogers of Batesville; sister, Tabitha Hensley of Batesville; step sister, Carla Hager Simer of Batesville; step brother, Rondel Hager (Karen) of Saffell; grandchildren, Kortlin Rogers, Coley Rogers, Canaan Rogers, Violet Franks, Laithe Martin and Liam Martin; and a host of other relatives and friends.

A memorial service will be held Tuesday, November 23, 2021 at 7:00 p.m. at the Qualls Batesville Funeral Service Chapel with Rondel Hager officiating.

Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. until service time.
