John D. Wigginton, 80 of Cave City died Wednesday, March 20, 2019. He was born October 29, 1938 at Osceola, Arkansas to James Harrison and Onnie Lois (Howell) Wigginton. He was a retired maintenance supervisor for Arkansas Eastman and a member of Corinth Missionary Baptist Church at Grange.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Shirley Yvonne (Milligan) Wigginton and sisters, Verna Harston and Lenora Lewis.
Survivors include sons, David Lynn Wigginton (Debbie) and Lee Allen Wigginton (Zana) both of Cave City; brother, Jay Wigginton (Wanda) of Okeechobee, Florida; sisters, Jeanne Pickett Hoff (Bill) and Alice June Pendergrass both of Cave City; grandchildren, Ashley Wright (Spencer), David Wigginton Jr. (Lauren), Austin Wigginton, Aaron Wigginton, Amber Wigginton and Joshua Wigginton; great grandchildren, Hunter, Gunner, Walker and Blaklee Wright and Jack and Henry Wigginton; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be Saturday, March 23, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Qualls Funeral Home Chapel in Cave City with Bro. Tracy Grissom officiating. Burial will follow in the Milligan Campground Cemetery located near Strawberry.
Visitation will be 1:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be David Wigginton Jr., Spencer Wright, Austin Wigginton, Aaron Wigginton, Joshua Wigginton, Bill Hill and Dr. Joel Pickett.
The family would like to thank Dr. VanGrouw, Dr. Desikan, Dr. Kakkera, Dr. Johnson and her staff, James Clayton RN, the White River Medical Center staff and Caring Hands Hospice for the wonderful care he received.
