Joy Lynn Wilder, age 69 of Batesville peacefully passed away Saturday, January 29, 2022 at the home surrounded by her loved ones. She was born August 22, 1952 in Waco, Texas to Oscar Everett Wyatt and Bobbie Laverne Hogue Wyatt. She was a member of White River Baptist Church in Oil Trough.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband, Ron E. Wilder and a brother, Gary Wyatt.
She is survived by four children, Jason Wilder of Dixon, Missouri, Josh Wilder of Southside, Arkansas, Joseph Wilder of Bentonville, Arkansas, and Sarah Moody of Oil Trough, Arkansas; two sisters, Debbie Smith of Springtown, Texas and Terri Randall of Irving, Texas; twelve grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be Saturday, February 5, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at the Qualls Batesville Funeral Service Chapel in Batesville with Paul Moody officiating. Burial will follow in the Oaklawn Cemetery in Batesville.
Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Jason Wilder, Joseph Wilder, Josh Wilder, Jordan Wilder, Kobe Wilder and Patrick Turney.
Honorary pallbearers are Autumn, Devon, Levi and Aaliyah.
