Joyce Ruelene Blevins

Joyce Ruelene Blevins, 84, of Batesville passed away Friday, November 22, 2024 in Batesville. She was born August 3, 1940 in Cave City to Ruel and Ermil (Christenberry) Blevins. She was a retired nurse and attended Campground Church in Bethesda. Joyce loved her dogs Jo Bear, Tracy, Lacy and Casey. She also enjoyed reading, gardening, flowers, hummingbirds and watching the deer.

She is preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, James Ray Blevins and Gerald Dean Blevins; three sisters, Willene St. John, Leda Blevins and Faye Robinson.

Survivors include one brother, Carl Blevins (Peggy) of Campbell, MO; one sister, Sharon Kay Rounds of Southside and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, November 27, 2024, 10:00 a.m. at the Qualls Batesville Funeral Service Chapel with Dawson McMahan officiating. Burial will follow in the Campground Cemetery at Bethseda.

Visitation will be Wednesday, November 27, 2024, 9:30 a.m. until service at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Ben Keener, Josh Keener, Kaleb Bean, Bob Keener, Shannon Rounds and James Randall Blevins.
