Joyce Ratliff

Joyce Ratliff, 89 of Cave City died Saturday, April 27, 2019 at her home. She was born November 4, 1929 at Maxville, Arkansas to Tom Dewey and Tommie Madge (Brickel) Rodgers. She was a homemaker and attended the Quail Valley Church of Christ at Batesville.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jewel Ratliff and a daughter Beverly Ann Ratliff.

Survivors include son, Randy Ratliff (Wendy) of Cave City; daughter, Barbara Farnam (Jim) of Cabot; 4 grandchildren, Jeremy Ratliff (Charlotte), Kirk Ratliff (Wyndi), Charles Southall (Lauren) and James “Jimmy” Southall (Ana); five great grandchildren, Korbin Ratliff, Gracen Ratliff, Ashley Crafton (Brady), Samuel Southall, Leili Lopez; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday April 30, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at the Qualls Funeral Home Chapel in Cave City with Burl Young of Quail Valley Church of Christ officiating. Burial will follow in the Cave City Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Jeremy Ratliff, Kirk Ratliff, James “Jimmy” Southall, Charles Southall, Roger Bagwell and Scott Naquin.

Honorary pallbearers are Ralph Johnson, Patrick Carter, Kevin Dennis, Ken Henley and Jim Dixon.
