Mrs. Juliana Sinko Yuhas age 98 (formerly of Cave City) passed away in the company of her loving family in Corpus Christi, Texas on January 12, 2019.
She was born in Toledo, Ohio to Lazlo and Erzebet “Lizzie” Sinko and was married to William Yuhas from 1940 until his death in 1995.
Juliana was a doting and generous mother and grandmother who brought joy and love to everyone she met. Her Hungarian heritage was passed down to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Many of the Hungarian meals she prepared will be an important part of her legacy.
She was preceded in death by both her husband William and her son, William A. Yuhas Jr. and is survived by three grandchildren, Christine Yuhas of Corpus Christi, TX, Linda (Steve) Elonich of Omaha, NE, Susan (Randy) Varnell of Batesville, AR and many great and great-great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Friday, January 18, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at the Qualls Funeral Home Chapel in Cave City. Burial will follow in the Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Batesville.
Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Randy Varnell, Michael Harvill, Jamie Varnell, Hudson Witte, Henry Witte and Eric Mischnick.
