Kathryn E. Bates

Kathryn E. Bates, 76 of Batesville died Sunday, June 14, 2020.   She was born on August 8, 1943 in Rockford, Illinois to Orville H. and Darlene F. Hammell Richardson.  She was a retired nurse’s aide. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Carl Bates; two sons, Steven Bates and Jeff Bates; and two sisters, Diane Richardson and Pam S. Richardson.

Survivors include, brother, Gary Richardson; sister, Nancy Springer of Judsonia; four grandchildren, Kelsey Bates, Anthony Bates, Madison Bates and Haley Davis and several great grandchildren.

Private memorial services will be held. Arrangements by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service.
