Kenneth “Sonny” Lynn, 82 of Rosie died Tuesday, April 23, 2019. He was born April 7, 1937 at Indianapolis, Indiana to George and Muriel Lynn. He was a retired truck driver and also a retired school bus driver for the Batesville School District. He loved sports, especially the St. Louis Cardinals and NASCAR . He especially loved his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother Leroy Lynn; sister, Betty Burton and granddaughter, Natasha Brown.
Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Bobbie Lynn; sons, Kenny Lynn of Cave City and Donald Lynn (Kay) of Springfield, Missouri; daughters, Georgetta Hunter of Magness, Barbara Brown (Mike) of Indianapolis, Indiana and Jodi Barber (Jamie) of Rosie; sisters, Shirley Payne (Letcher) of Mooresville, Indiana and Alma Wrightsman of Martinsville, Indiana; grandchildren, Jackson Barber, Jessica Barber, Alyssa Barber, Bobby Lynn, Christopher Lynn, Mike Brown and Tyniquo Sturgeon; great grandchildren, Eleanor Brown, Clara Sturgeon and Waverly Brown; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be Saturday, April 27, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at the Maple Springs Missionary Baptist Church with Bro. Curt Howard and Bro. Jamie Barber officiating. Burial will follow in the Maple Springs Cemetery with arrangements by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service.
Visitation will be Friday, April 26, 2019 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Andy Williford, Calvin Salter, Adam Adair, Nick Adair, Bryson Williford and Paul Johnson.
Honorary pallbearers are Terry Bradley, Perry Meeks and his grandsons.
