Kerry Lienel Jones

Kerry Lienel Jones, 61, of Powhatan, Arkansas passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 3, 2024 at his home surrounded by his loved ones. He was born June 7, 1962 in Batesville, Arkansas to Willie Eugene Jones and Loretta Ann Huskey. He was a jack-of-all-trades and a member of the Mt. Harmony Free Will Baptist Church. He enjoyed woodworking, cooking, computers, traveling, seeking thrill rides, playing the guitar and was very adventurous and brave. He was a devoted Christian and father who loved his family fiercely.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his previous wife, Brenda Jones and one sister, Theresa Roxanne Jones.

He is survived by his wife of 18 years, Net Dang Jones of the home; four sons, Caleb Jones of Powhatan, Arkansas, Kramer Jones (Kimberly) of Tuckerman, Arkansas, Shaun Milde of Saffell, Arkansas and Brent Milde (Melissa) of Strawberry, Arkansas; two daughters, Tranita Bell (Courtney) of Strawberry, Arkansas and Tanesha Baker of Cabot, Arkansas; one brother, Lanny Jones (Brenda Sue) of Strawberry, Arkansas; fifteen grandchildren; a nephew, Bobby Joe Jones (Ashley) of Strawberry, Arkansas; an aunt, Barbara Sue Croom of Sullivan, Missouri; and other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, January 7, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at the Mt. Harmony Free Will Baptist Church with Bro. Greg Tucker and Bro. Stanley Vandergrift officiating. Burial will follow in the Lancaster Cemetery in Strawberry with arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.

Visitation will be Sunday, January 7, 2024 from 11:00 a.m. until service time at the church.

Pallbearers will be Bobby Joe Jones, Eric Huskey, Lionel Croom, Brent Huskey, Adam Huskey and Leonard Shaw.

Honorary pallbearers will be Leon Cunningham, Andy D’Jon, Mark Mann and Brad Maxwell.
