Kevin Don Albertson

Kevin Don Albertson, 58, of Smithville, Arkansas passed away Tuesday, June 13, 2023 in the White River Health Hospital in Batesville, Arkansas. He was born September 19, 1964 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Donnie and Ruth Albertson. He was a truck driver and a member of the Lebanon Missionary Baptist Church in Nelsonville, Arkansas. Kevin enjoyed hunting, fishing and riding four wheelers.

He is preceded in death by his parents; paternal grandparents, Monroe Albertson and Fronie Nelson and her husband Jack Nelson; maternal grandparents, James and Cleo Wheat; and sister in law, Anna Jo Stephens.

He is survived by his wife Lisa Stephens Albertson of the home; one son, Dr. Monroe Albertson and his fiancé Anna Beth Haney of Batesville, Arkansas; his sister, Michelle (Mike) Bruner of Surprise, Arizona; two nieces, Sarah Bruner of Utah and Chloe Bruner of Surprise, Arizona; his mother in law, Peggy Stephens; and other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 17, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. at the Lebanon Missionary Baptist Church in Nelsonville, Arkansas with Bro. Boyce Johnson officiating. Burial will follow at the Lebanon Cemetery in Nelsonville, Arkansas with arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.

Visitation will be Friday, June 16, 2023, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Qualls Funeral Home Chapel.

Pallbearers will be Kenny Boyle, Spencer Hart, Russell Fowler, Brian Carter, Noah Brooks, Spencer Brown, Randy Jones and Chris Bullard.

Honorary pallbearers are Jake Erwin, Matt Daugherty, Brian Snyder, Junior Jones, Gary Duncan, Fred Head, and the Board and Staff at the Cave City Nursing Home.
