Larry V. Altom, 75 of Jamestown died Wednesday, January 22, 2020 at his home. He was born November 11, 1944 in Batesville, Arkansas to Nolan and Floy Wilf Altom. He was retired owner of Altom Industrial Supply in Batesville and was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Batesville. He enjoyed his work and riding Missouri Fox Trotter Horses.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Katherine B. Altom of the home; two daughters, Vanessa E. Altom of Baton Rouge, Louisiana and Virginia W. Cruse and husband Chris of Batesville; two granddaughters, Hannah E. Cruse and Katie Cruse both of Batesville; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Memorial services will be Monday, January 27, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at the First Presbyterian Church of Batesville. Arrangements by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service.
Memorials may be made to Caring Hands Hospice or the Independence County Humane Society.
