Lee Owen Milligan

Lee Owen Milligan, 95 of Cave City passed away Friday, August 20, 2021.  She was born June 14, 1926 in Cave City, Arkansas to Owen Ray and Maudie Ruth (McLeod) Hoggard.  She worked many years at White Rodgers in Batesville, was a paper carrier for the Batesville Daily Guard for 33 years and was a member of First United Methodist Church in Cave City.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Kimbrew Milligan and a grandson, Kasey Milligan.

Survivors include two sons, Rick Milligan (Nell) of Batesville and Donald Milligan (Kathy) of Cave City; one daughter, Karen Guthrie (Gary) of Cave City; one sister, Donnie Roberts of Illinois; six grandchildren, Megan Watson (Adam), Trint Milligan (Stephanie), Ryan Herndon (Deanna), Aaron Herndon, Kevin Milligan and Sam Milligan (Whitley Patterson); eight great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be Monday, August 23, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at the First United Methodist Church in Cave City with Bro. Grayden Milligan and Bro. Randy Seale officiating.  Burial will follow in the Milligan Campground Cemetery near Strawberry with arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.

Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until service time at the church.

Pallbearers will be Trint Milligan, Ryan Herndon, Aaron Herndon, Sam Milligan, Kevin Milligan, Adam Watson and Derrick Brashers.

Honorary pallbearers are the Staff of Cave City Nursing Home.
