Leslie Ann Winey Neal, 46 of Pineville, Louisiana died Tuesday, May 12, 2020 at Rapides Regional Medical Center in Alexandria, Louisiana. She was born June 12, 1973 in Batesville, Arkansas to Lester and Mary Ann Goodman Winey. She was a 1991 graduate of Highland High School and a 1998 graduate of UACCB. She was a member of the Main Street Church of Christ in Evening Shade and attended 28 East Church of Christ in Pineville, Louisiana. She loved God and studying His word. She loved to sing and give praises to God with her beautiful voice and loved to sing with her brother Michael. She was a loving mother, daughter, sister, wife and friend. She loved life and brought joy and sunshine to everyone she met. Helping others brought her great satisfaction, and she felt this was her Christian duty.
She was preceded in death by her father, Lester Gene Winey, step-dad, "PaPa", Patrick Galligan and Grandparents, Eugene and Deloris Winey and Shelby and Peggy Goodman.
Survivors include her husband Charles Neal of the home; two daughters, Ashlie Winey and Ashley Phipps both of Batesville; one son, Kory Phipps of Batesville; her mother Mary Ann Galligan of Evening Shade; one brother, Michael Winey of Evening Shade;one step-brother, Matthew Galligan of Evening Shade; two step-sisters, Betty Roork of Salem and Remona Moore of Ward; two grandsons, Casey Douglas and Jacob Douglas and a host of other relatives and friends.
Graveside services will be Monday, May 18, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at the Evening Shade Cemetery with Clint McBryde officiating. Arrangements by Qualls Funeral home of Cave City.
Pallbearers will be Charles Neal, Kory Phipps, Christopher Wilkes, Henry Douglas, Michael Winey and Buell Wilkes.
