Lester Leon Brown Jr.

Lester Leon Brown Jr., 76 of Batesville died Friday, March 13, 2020. He was born May 9, 1943 in Bald Knob, Arkansas to Lester Leon Brown Sr. and Madaline Stiles Brown. He was a retired truck driver and a member of Lifeline Baptist Church in Pleasant Plains.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Dora Earline Brown; a stepson, Donnie Huston and two sisters, Mona Roberson and Dee Staggs.

Survivors include two sons, Lester Brown III of Russell and Dion Brown (Christy) of Searcy; one stepson, Dennis Huston of Batesville; two stepdaughters, Vickie Dejean (Terry) of Batesville and Roxann Lamons (Rick) of Floral; 13 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Graveside services will be Tuesday, March 17, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at Union Grove Cemetery in Pleasant Plains with Doc Spurlin officiating. Arrangements by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service.

Visitation will be from 12:30 until 1:30 p.m. at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Dustin Dayberry, Eric Guyette, Jacob Guyette, Lester Brown III, Rick Lamons and Isaiah Pendeleton.
