Lewis Christenberry

Lewis (Lew) Christenberry, 78, of Smithville passed away Thursday, November 21, 2024 in Cave City. She was born September 20, 1946 in Longview, WA to Clarington and Cleo (Tucker) Gilmore. She was retired from White Rodgers and was a member of Mt View Missionary Baptist Church. Lewis enjoyed reading and spending time with her great grandson.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 59 years, Wayne Christenberry; two brothers and three sisters.

She is survived by her daughter Ann Edwardson (Kenneth) of Cave City; two grandchildren, Billy Horton (Amy) of Batesville and April Horton of Cave City; one great grandson, Elijah Horton; one brother, Merle Gilmore; two sisters, Rose Dorris and Georgia Gilmore along with a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be Satuday, November 23, 2024 at 10:00 A.M. at Qualls Funeral Home Chapel in Cave City with Bro. Vance Penn officiating. Burial will follow in the Fairview Cemetery.

Arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.

Visitation will begin at 9:30 A.M. at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Billy Horton, Michael Mobley, Aaron Mobley, Kenneth Edwardson, Ronald Mobley, and Mark Brightwell.
