Linda June Sullins Ewing Scoggins, 69, of Batesville died Sunday, June 24, 2018. She was born June 26, 1948 at Pineville, Arkansas to Euen Oscar Shelby and Trudie Lorene Ross Sullins. She was retired from GDX Automotive in Batesville and was a faithful member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Southside where she served many years as a volunteer in the food bank. She loved her yard work and her animals.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two husbands, Donnie Ewing and Tim Scoggins; and one brother, Delma Lee Sullins.
Survivors include one daughter, Sunnie Ewing of Jonesboro; one brother, Eugene Sullins (Doris) of Pineville; two sisters, Wilma Washington of Calico Rock and Alice Hodges (Wally) of Elizabeth; one sister-in-law Kathy Sullins of Delight; four nephews; four nieces; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, June 27, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at the Mt. Zion Baptist Church of Southside with Bro. Bob Dailey officiating. Burial will follow in the Oaklawn Cemetery in Batesville with arrangements by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service.
Visitation will be Tuesday, June 26, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Bill Clinton, Chris Clinton, Shelby Clinton, Dan McGee, Bobby Burris, and Bill Scroggins.
Honorary Pallbearers are Eugene Sullins, Wally Hodges, and David Clinton.
