Lorie Jones, 88 of Williford died Friday, April 19, 2019. She was born July 16, 1930 at Whittier, California to Honorato and Carmen Cabezut Jimenez. She was a retired librarian for the Williford Library and was a member of St. Michael’s Catholic Church at Cherokee Village. She loved her grandchildren and they were her life.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two husbands, George Robinson and James “Jr.” Jones and a sister, Vicki Richardson.
Survivors include one daughter, Rosanne Stitcher of Cave City; three sons, Steven Robinson (Ireta) of Durango, Colorado, Lawrence Robinson (Pam) of Mammoth Spring and Kenneth Robinson (Karen) of Costa Mesa, California; 7 grandchildren, Tricia Stitcher, Jimie Stitcher (Sherrie), Lacey Robinson, Carley Robinson, Michael Robinson, Wayne Robinson, Matthew Robinson and Danica Delaney-Dudley; 7 great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
A rosary service will begin at 10:30 a.m. followed by a funeral mass at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 24, 2019 at the St. Michael’s Catholic Church at Cherokee Village with Father Amal Punganoor officiating. Burial will follow in the Williford Cemetery with arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.
Visitation will be Tuesday, April 23, 2019 from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Kourtney Burns, Lawrence Robinson, Kenneth Robinson, Jimie Stitcher, Joey Carpenter, and Danny Haney.
