Louise Jackson Hinson passed away January 26, 2019 in the presence of her loving family in Lebanon, Indiana. Louise was born in Clay County, Arkansas on October 7, 1931 to Fred Jackson and Viola Merideth Jackson.
Louise was a loving wife, sister, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She married Eanos Hinson on December 21, 1950. Eanos passed away on June 14, 2005. To this union were two children, Teresa Jean Hinson Coughlin, who preceded Louise in death, and Michael Fred Hinson of Thorntown, Indiana. She had four grandchildren, Eric Bowers of Bonita Springs, Florida; Shannan Bowers Janke of Bonita Springs, Florida; Joe Hinson of Lebanon, Indiana; and Steve Hinson of Lafayette, Colorado; as well as two step-grandchildren, Justin Schrock of Indianapolis, Indiana and Jared Long of Lebanon, Indiana. She also had four great-grandchildren and two step-great-grandchildren.
Louise was the third of eleven children, seven of whom preceded her in death. Her surviving siblings are Linda Gibson of Madisonville, Tennessee; Larry Jackson of Murphysboro, Illinois; and Mary Jarvis of Monette, Arkansas.
Louise loved playing games, including cards, dominoes, and bingo. She also enjoyed knitting and spending time with her husband on their boat.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 30, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at the Qualls Funeral Home Chapel in Cave City. Burial will follow in the Maxville Cemetery located 5 miles north of Cave City.
Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.
