Lynda Norris

Lynda Norris, 79 of Poughkeepsie died Saturday, November 28, 2020. She was born November 15, 1941 in Poughkeepsie, Arkansas to Martin and Lockie Layne Norris.  She was retired from the Bank of Evening Shade.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Athena Jackson; three brothers, Laman Norris, Boyd Norris and T.J. Norris and two sisters, Alene Rush and Alamola Morgan.

Survivors include one son, Josh Higginbottom (Katherine) of Newport; one sister, Barbara Green of Spring, Texas; two grandchildren, Kendall Calhoun and Hannah Higginbottom; three great grandchildren, Emily, Waylon and Weston; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Private graveside services will be held at the Spotts Cemetery in Poughkeepsie.
