Maggie Ruth Clem, 91, of Cave City passed away on Wednesday, September 28, 2022 at her home. She was born on May 25, 1931 in Mangrum, Arkansas to Levi and Mary Rasdon. She was a homemaker and mother. She also worked in woodworking and for the Sidney Nursing Home. She was a member of the Eastside Baptist Church in Cave City. She enjoyed crafts and painting. She also loved to cook chocolate gravy for all her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 66 years, Jimmie Lee Clem; eight brothers and two sisters.
She is survived by her son, Anthony Clem (Angelica) of Pocahontas; her two daughters, Karen Church (Elton) of Cave City and Rita Disch of Cave City; her sister, Ruby Steele of Jonesboro; her five grandchildren, Amy Dunning (Jerry), Carrie Amegdoul (Hassan), Mark Church, Joshua Clem (Savannah) and Samuel Clem (Atlantys); eight great grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 1, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at the Qualls Funeral Home Chapel with Don Miller officiating. Burial will follow in the Maxville Cemetery in Cave City.
Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Mark Church, Jerry Church, Phillip Clem, Samuel Clem, Joshua Clem, Jerry Dunning, Ricky Smith and Jim Dunton.
Arrangements are by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.
