Margaret Jean Waldrup

Margaret Jean Waldrup, 83, of Hamburg, Arkansas passed away on Tuesday, July 4, 2023, in Batesville, Arkansas. She was born on April 23, 1940 in El Dorado, Arkansas to Virgil and Cornelia Parker. She was a Registered Nurse and a member of the First Baptist Church in Hamburg, Arkansas. Margaret enjoyed caring for her family and patients. Margaret and Allen enjoyed camping and picking and grinning with friends in Mountain View, Arkansas. Along with her family, Margaret loved singing. Margaret and Allen served in the Gideons for over 40 years.

She is preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Allen Waldrup.

She is survived by her daughters, Tammy Henry (Bill) of Batesville, Arkansas and Ginger Welch of El Dorado, Arkansas; her sister, Jerri Palmer of Longview, Texas; four grandchildren, Will Henry, Stephen Henry, Robert Welch and Mary Welch; two great grandchildren, Noah Henry and Livi Henry; and other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be Saturday, July 8, 2023 at 3:00 p.m. at the Halley Baptist Church in Halley with James Kendig officiating. Burial will follow in the Halley Baptist Church Cemetery located in Halley, Arkansas with arrangements by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service.
