Mary Wanda Lee

Mary Wanda Lee, 89, of Batesville died Sunday, July 29, 2018. She was born August 23, 1928 at Evening Shade, Arkansas to Leland and Myrtle Stewart Wallis. She was a retired bookkeeper having worked for Dr. Bob Slaughter for 35 years. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Batesville.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Buddy Wallis; and one sister, Lillian Wallis.

Survivors include one son, Frankie Lee of Batesville; one daughter, Sharon Wilkins (Buddy) of Batesville; two brothers, Ray Wallis (Barbara) and Dean Wallis (Betty) both of Searcy; one sister-in-law, Freda Wallis of Batesville; three grandchildren, Mandy Lee and Heidi Machen (Dene) both of Batesville, and Casey Wilkins (Sarah) of Harrison; three great-grandchildren, River King, Emily Machen, and Kegan Machen all of Batesville; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Graveside services will be Tuesday, July 31, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Oaklawn Cemetery in Batesville with Bro. Larry Sellers officiating.

Honorary Pallbearers are Casey Wilkins, Kegan Machen, Dene Machen, Tracy Wallis, Greg Wallis, Brian Goff, and Mark Goff.
