Maxine Broadwater Boles, 94 of Batesville passed away Tuesday, June 4, 2019. She was born March 1, 1925 to Mabel and Robert Broadwater. She retired from the International Shoe Factory. She was a member of Harrison Street Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Alvin A Boles; one sister, Allene Reynolds; five brothers, J.R., Dale, Doyle, Dene, and Harold Broadwater.
Survivors include one son Donald A Boles (Pam) of Batesville; three grandsons, D. Hardiman Boles (Myra) of Coldwater, Mississippi, P. Ashley Boles (Kassie) of Jonesboro, and Timothy A. Boles (Lanette) of Cabot; five great-grandchildren, Kerry H. Boles of Nashville, TN, Eden and Lila Boles of Jonesboro, and Lily and Carter Boles of Cabot; and three sisters, Betty Bonham of Troy, Illinois, Barbara Barber of North Little Rock, and Edith Elms of Batesville.
Funeral services will be Thursday, June 6, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at the Qualls Batesville Funeral Service Chapel with Tommie Boles and Steve Smith officiating. Interment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens north of Batesville.
Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
Pallbearers are Hardiman Boles, Ashley Boles, Tim Boles, Kerry Boles, Carter Boles, Ronnie Elms, and Dennis Broadwater.
Honorary Pallbearers are her great granddaughters, her Broadwater and Boles nieces and nephews, Pete Musgrave, Bob Robertson, Durwood Elms, and Clifford Reynolds; also her very special caretaker, Kay Waldrop.
Memorials may be made to the Harrison Street Church of Christ, Children’s Home of Paragould or the charity of choice.
