Meredith “Red” Jaggers age 77 of Evening Shade passed away peacefully, surrounded by loved ones on Thursday, November 1, 2018 at the White River Medical Center in Batesville. He was born in Galesburg, Illinois on July 10, 1941. He lived many years in Lake Mills, Wisconsin.
He enjoyed camping and was an avid fisherman. He also enjoyed being a volunteer fireman. He was retired from the State of Wisconsin where held a variety of positions.
Survivors include his wife of 35 years, Kathy (Moen) Jaggers of the home; the mother of his children, Jerilyn (Benson) Jaggers of Lake Mills, Wisconsin; sons, Larry Jaggers (Cathy) and Thomas Jaggers of Sun Prarie, Wisconsin; daughters, Laurie Jaggers-Roehl (Tooter) and Linda Heinzelman (Randy) of Lake Mills, Wisconsin; his brother, Ronald Stewart (Bonnie) of Madison, Wisconsin; as well as several grandchildren, other dear family members and many special friends (especially J.T. Duncan).
He was preceded in death by his mother, Josephine E. Wegener; brother, Charles Stewart; sister, June Marshall; step-son, Brian Ciciva and step-daughter, Kimberly Johnson.
No funeral services will be held. Arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City
