Mickey Lynn Wilson, age 68 of Cave City passed away Monday, July 4, 2022 in Batesville, Arkansas. She was born May 28, 1954 in Brinkley, Arkansas to Laverne Troy. She spent years devoted to the protection of children as a social worker for the Department of Human Services, and was a professor at ASU Jonesboro and of the Christian faith. She and her husband Charles were happily married for 50 years. She enjoyed spending time with family and her grandbabies. She loved the TV shows, The Golden Girls and Reba. She also enjoyed reading, music and sitting on the porch with her husband.
She was preceded in death by her mother and one brother, Steve Troy.
Survivors include her husband; Charles Wilson of the home; one son; Charles Wilson Jr. (Nancy) of Batesville; three daughters; Sheila Price (Rick) of Maumelle, Laura Stroud (Kris) of Missouri and Jennifer Wilson (Chad) of the home; seven grandchildren; Brittany Carpenter, Matthew Wilson, Harrison Price, Hayden Price, Katelynn Stroud, Dalton Stroud and Greyson Gengo; two great grandchildren; Charley Carpenter and Jax Carpenter; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
Memorial services will be Thursday, July 7, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at the Qualls Funeral Home Chapel in Cave City with Brian Garrett officiating.
Arrangements are by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.
