Minnie Francis Nast, 84, of Batesville died Monday, August 6, 2018. She was born November 21, 1933 in Batesville, Arkansas to Wilby and Margie Riley Coleman. She was retired from International Shoe Factory in Batesville and a member of the Central Avenue Church of Christ. She loved family gatherings, playing bridge with her friends, Razorback football, and watching NASCAR racing.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Jack Nast; and a son, Jackie Nast.
Survivors include one son, Mike Nast (Glenda) of Pleasant Plains; daughter-in-law, Debbie Nast of Southside; sister, Wilma Milligan of Batesville; four grandchildren, Eric Nast (Stephanie), Trent Nast (Melissa), Joseph Nast (Brandie), and Jackson Nast; four great-grandchildren, Solomon Nast, Kera Nast, Jenna Nast, and Leighton Nast; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be Saturday, August 11, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at the Qualls Batesville Funeral Service Chapel with Steve Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the Oaklawn Cemetery in Batesville.
Visitation will be Friday, August 10, 2018 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Eric Nast, Trent Nast, Joseph Nast, Jackson Nast, Jim Nast, and Billy Bob Burns.
Honorary Pallbearers are Jimmy Nast, Mike Collins, Parker Nast, and Bobby Davis.
