Murle Reynolds Acklin Thompson, 82 of Clinton passed away Thursday, January 13, 2022. She was born May 22, 1939 in Sandtown, Arkansas to Earl and Nettie Dunegan Reynolds. She was retired from ConAgra Foods in Batesville and was of the Baptist faith.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two husbands, Albert Acklin Sr. and Ray Thompson; one son, Albert Acklin Jr.; one daughter, Patricia Acklin; six brothers, Henry J. Reynolds, Gerald Reynolds, William J. Reynolds, Boyd Reynolds, Steve Reynolds and Tex Reynolds; three sisters, Betty Ann Pool, Wanda Smith and Lottie Carolyn Reynolds and one grandson, Brayden Moses.
Survivors include three daughters, Angela Gail Moses (Jimmy) of Morrilton, Teresa Marie Lovell (Karl) of Clinton and Mia Acklin of Newport; one brother, Gene Reynolds (Barbara) of Texarkana; seven grandchildren, Andrea Donahue (Clint), Doug Acklin, Megan Moses (Kevin Curtis), Wesley Moses (Jasmine), Shelby Lovell (Kayleigh), Haley Lovell and Jimmy Joe Moses; fifteen grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, January 18, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at the Qualls Funeral Home Chapel in Cave City with Gene Reynolds and Stephen Downs officiating. Burial will follow in the Barnes Cemetery at Batesville.
Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Karl Lovell, Shelby Lovell, Clint Donahue, Lane Donahue and Jimmy Moses.
