Nina Westmoreland, 92 of North Little Rock passed away Thursday, December 9, 2021. She was born August 27, 1929 in Emery, Arkansas to James Burge and Minnie Pearl (Anderson) Johnson. She was a homemaker and a member of the Immanuel Baptist Church in Little Rock.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John Westmoreland; three brothers, Hiram Johnson, Norman Johnson and Tommy Wayne Johnson and two sisters, Pearline Sowell and Ann Ella Sullivan.
Survivors include two sons, Blake Westmoreland (Kay) of Sherwood and Mark Westmoreland (Amy) of Maumelle; two brothers, Harry Johnson (Sue) of St, Joseph, Missouri and J.B. Johnson of Batesville; one sister, Glenna Cochran (Leon) of St. Louis, Missouri; six grandchildren, Justin Westmoreland (Meredith), John Michael Westmoreland (Jena), Kristen Westmoreland, Christopher Westmoreland, Rachel Kane (Matthew) and Laura Hildebrand; eight great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be Saturday, December 18, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at the Qualls Batesville Funeral Service Chapel with Justin Westmoreland officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Sidney.
Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Christopher Westmoreland, John Michael Westmoreland, Jasper Westmoreland, Knox Westmoreland, Keith Johnson and Dennis Johnson.
