Otto A. Hayes, 82 of Batesville (formerly of Oskaloosa, Iowa) died Friday, October 19, 2018. He was born August 24, 1936 at Metropolis, Illinois to Henry and Nellie Guynes Hayes. He was a retired baker and pastor. He was a member of the Oskaloosa Assembly of God.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Max Hayes; one daughter, Cheryl Phillips and several brothers and sisters.
Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Ruth E. Hayes; one son, Greg Hayes (Crystal) of Batesville; two daughters, Ruth Mae Lahvic of Bell, Florida and Alleda Stein (Larry) of Oskaloosa, Iowa; 24 grandchildren; 33 great- grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Memorial services will held Saturday, November 3, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at the White Drive Baptist Church in Batesville with Bro. Adam Longo officiating. Arrangements by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service of Batesville.
