--Following a courageous battle with Leiomyosarcoma, Pamela Marie Hall, age 54, of Evening Shade, Arkansas, passed away peacefully at her home, surrounded by her family on Tuesday May 18th, 2021. She was born on December 11th, 1966 in Jonesboro Arkansas to Robert Paul and Gladys Marie (Davis) Hall.
She is preceded in death by her parents and her niece Briana (Bopp) Arford.
Survivors include one daughter, whom she cherished as her best friend, Kristina Marie and husband Lester Mullen of Evening Shade. And one adopted son Daniel Davis of Oklahoma. Also four beloved grandchildren. Bayleigh Mullen and Ryleigh Mullen of Evening Shade. Drake Mullen of Jonesboro. Summer (Mullen) and husband Chase Peck of Jonesboro. As well as a host of other family members and friends that became family.
Pam was a medical professional that dedicated her life to serving others. She began her nursing career as a Licensed Practical Nurse in 1996. She went on to earn her Registered Nursing degree in 2011 with her daughter Kristina by her side, earning her RN degree as well. Pam had been employed at Unity Health Harris Hospital in Newport since May of 2012, working in the Emergency Room, as a trauma nurse. She was certified with her TNCC (Trauma Nurse Core Course), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support). To say she loved her job would be such an understatement, considering she worked up until the week she went on hospice care.
Pam was an avid hunter and loved the solitude of the outdoors, even breaking her back once, while hauling out the biggest deer she had ever killed, by herself. She also loved to go fishing and being on the water was her happy place.
There are souls in this world which have the gift of finding joy everywhere and of leaving it behind them when they go, Pam was one of them. She did not follow where the path was leading but instead went where there was no path and left a trail. She lived every day like it was her last, long before she knew her last days were coming. She taught things no classroom or lesson from a book could have ever taught. She showed us that life is what we make it. She showed us how not to be a passenger in our own lives, to not wait for ideal circumstances, to take the trip, because it is only possible to live happily ever after on a day-to-day basis. And Pam was living happily every day. `
