Perry Lynn Riggs

Perry Lynn Walker Riggs, 80, of Batesville, Arkansas passed away Tuesday, October 17, 2023 at Woodlawn Heights Nursing Home. She was born August 17, 1943 in Mt. Pleasant, Arkansas to Perry and Merle (Anderson) Walker. She was retired from Independence County and of the Christian faith. She enjoyed watching movies and listening to music. She loved time spent with her family, especially her grandson. She loved her cat, Cookie and she loved Elvis.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her infant sister, Eva June Walker.

She is survived by her son, Blake Wycough (Debra) of Salado, Arkansas and one grandson, Cason Wycough.

Funeral services will be Monday, October 23, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at the Qualls Batesville Funeral Service Chapel with Jerry Hagar officiating. Burial will follow in the Reeves Cemetery near Guion with arrangements by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service.

Visitation will be Sunday, October 22, 2023 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Greg Johnson, Austin Fields, Cason Wycough, Tim Wammack, Jim Felts and Jeff Richardson.

The family would like to thank Perry’s aides while in Assisted Living, the staff and nurses from Woodlawn Heights Nursing Home and the staff and nurses with Caring Hands Hospice.
