  Pete Hoover, 72 of Cave City died Tuesday, April 10, 2018. He was born November 23, 1945 at Manchester, Kentucky to Vincent and Addie Sizemore Hoover.  He was retired from the United States Postal Service and worked several years as a Respiratory Therapist at the White River Medical Center in Batesville. He was a Christian and a U.S. Army Vietnam War Veteran. He was preceded in death by his parents; two infant sisters, Josephine Hoover and Glenda Phillips and an infant granddaughter, Cheyenne Hoover. Survivors include his wife of 32 years, Shirley Hoover of the home; three sons, Tim Hoover and Randy Hoover both of Batesville and Hugh Inman (Mary) of Marion; one daughter, Connie Scarbrough (David) of Batesville; three brothers, Paul Hoover of Little Rock, Pat Hoover of South Carolina and Jerry Phillips of Cave City; two sisters, Janet Herndon and Judy Thatch both of  Batesville; grandchildren, Courtney Ramos and Johnny Sifford  both of Batesville, Ashley Pickering of Cave City, Rippley Inman, Xandri Inman and Slade Inman all of Marion; several great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Graveside services will be Wednesday, April 11, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at the Egner Cemetery located at Salado with Dennis Edgin officiating.   Arrangements by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service of Batesville.
