Phyllis Ann Jeans

Phyllis Ann Jeans, 73, of Poughkeepsie, Arkansas passed away Wednesday, March 6, 2024 at the Cave City Nursing Home. She was born July 30, 1950 in Rockford, Illinois to Harold and Edith Whipple. Phyllis was an LPN and enjoyed time spent reading, writing, fishing, crafting and shopping.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Danny Jeans; an angel baby boy; three brothers, Allen, Dan and Harry; and one sister, Thelma.

She is survived by her daughters, Athena Jeans (Chris) of Evening Shade, Arkansas and Angela Guinnip (Woodrow) of Evening Shade, Arkansas; nine grandchildren, Jonathan, Stephanie, Keith, Leon, Richard, Joseph, Kyle, Nic and Jonathan Christopher; ten great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 9, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at the Qualls Funeral Home Chapel with Tony Stuntz officiating. Burial will follow in the Lancaster Cemetery in Strawberry, Arkansas with arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City, Arkansas.

Visitation will begin Saturday, March 9, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be her grandsons.
