Ramona Jean Weaver, 79 of Batesville died Thursday, December 3, 2020. She was born April 29, 1941 in Pfeiffer, Arkansas. She was the daughter of Abe Brokaw and Anna Mae (Milligan) Brokaw Jobe. She was retired from White Rodgers in Batesville and was a member of the Southside United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Leon Brokaw; her first husband, Rayburn Ray and daughter, Rebecca Ann Ray; her second husband, James Ray Weaver; and son, James Braden Weaver.
She is survived by her son, Jason Weaver (Angie) of Batesville; two sisters, Donna Holland (Terry) of Whispering Pines, North Carolina and Ann McCartney (Bob) of Batesville; five grandchildren, Alicia Davidson (Noah), Katlyn Weaver, Cole Weaver, Zack Reed (Jenny) and Casey Smith; one great granddaughter, Esther Joy Davidson; her cousin, Debbie Hill; very special friends, Senator James Sturch and Chelsie O’Neal; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Graveside services will be Saturday December 5, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. at the Egner Cemetery in Salado with Chad Graves officiating. Arrangements are by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service.
Visitation will be Friday, December 4, 2020 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Zack Reed, Cole Weaver, Noah Davidson, Casey Smith, James Sturch and Ryan Lee.
Honorary pallbearers are Dr. Jordan Weaver, Terry Holland, Bob McCartney and Jack Lee
