Randall Von Odom, 76, of Batesville died Sunday, June 24, 2018. He was born May 16, 1942 at Austin, Arkansas to Guthrie Armond and Marstella Rose Edwards Odom. He was an entrepreneurial business owner and of the Christian faith. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Michael Von Odom; one brother, Larry Odom; one grandson, Alex Odom; a brother-in-law, Marshall Siegel, and his beloved registered ShihTzu dog, Truckee Von Odom.

Survivors include his wife and best friend, Elizabeth J. Odom of the home; mother-in-law, Anita White; Aunt Topsy Johnson of Conway; one brother, Jack Odom and wife Jeanne ; two sisters, Beckie Odom Brooks and husband Harold of Jacksonville and Joy Odom Siegel of Dallas,Texas; sister-in-law, Sandy Odom of Little Rock; two step-sons, Jonathan Burnett of Searcy and Stephen Burnett of Bartlett, Tennessee; one step-daughter, Rachel Johnson and husband Scott of Cabot; three granddaughters, Rilee Grace Odom, Ashton Johnson Walker and husband Cole and Lauren Taylor Johnson; brother-in-law, Russell Aiken and his wife Sandra and family; cousins, Carolyn Wadington and husband Skeeter of West Little Rock and Marlene Sawyer and husband Jim of Hardy and Rob Edwards and wife Diane; nephews, Kerry Brooks and wife Laura and daughters, Kenneth Brooks and wife Kyong and daughters, Scott Cranford and wife Tammy and children; Chad Cranford and wife Brandy and daughters, David Odom and wife Lori and their daughter, Tim Odom and wife Leslie and daughters, Brian Young, Kenny Young,  and Mark Odom; nieces, Christen Estrada and husband Zane, Stephenie Reeves and husband Dalton, and Micah Odom; numerous lifelong friends that are family, and a long line of other family members; one dog, Katie and several cats of which Gumdrop is the favorite!

Funeral services will be held at the Mt. Carmel Baptist Church in Cabot, Arkansas on Friday, June 29, 2018 with visitation the same day at noon for family and 12:30 until 1:45 for friends.  The service will be at 2:00 p.m. with a fellowship potluck afterwards at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church, 163 Mt. Carmel Road, Cabot, AR 72023.
