Rebecca Ann Schroeder

Rebecca Ann Schroeder, 76, of Strawberry passed away on Wednesday, September 6, 2023 at her home.  She was born April 12, 1947 in Olney, Illinois to Vergil Edison Melton and Rhudene Rebecca Roberts-Melton.  She was retired from the service/hospitality industry, where she worked for many years.  She enjoyed reading and socializing with her family.

She is preceded in death by her father, Vergil Edison Melton.

Survivors include her mother, Rhudene Melton of Strawberry; a daughter, Dawn Schroeder and significant other, Henry Clarke of Orange, California; two step-sons, Henry Clarke IV and Benjamin Clarke of Villa Park, California; two step-grandchildren, four step-grandchildren as well as a host of other relatives and friends.

Memorial services will be held at a later date
