Robert Lee Vanhouten, Sr., 72, of Sulphur Rock passed away Friday, February 23, 2024 in Sulphur Rock. He was born July 4, 1951 in Ganado, TX to Clarence and Luna Vahouten. He was a truck driver and loved his dog, Rose. Robert enjoyed playing poker and shooting his collection of firearms.
He is preceded in death by his parents; several brothers and sisters; and a grandchild, J.J.
Survivors include his children, Robert Vanhouten (Brandi) of Idaho, Kathy Nealy (Craig) of Texas, Katrina Pinkston (Kirby) of Cave City, Christina Vanhouten of New York, Bobby Futschik of Texas, Robert Vanhouten, Jr. of Texas, Amanda Miller of Texas, Jennifer Snyder (Joshua) of Louisiana and Melissa Milde (Brent) of Strawberry; thirty plus grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
There will be a memorial service held at a later date.
