Ronald Dale Erwin, 74, of Rosie died Saturday, February 9, 2019 at his home. He was born August 31, 1944 in Powhatan, Arkansas in the Eaton Township to Rudolph David and Bessie Ola McLeod Erwin. He was a retired Chiropractor and had opened Batesville Chiropractic in August of 1977. He held the degrees of Associate of Arts, Bachelor of Science, and Doctor of Chiropractic. He was a member of the American Chiropractic Association and the Arkansas Chiropractic Association; he had served as chairman of the Northeast District of the Arkansas Chiropractic Association and served on the Board of Directors for the Arkansas Chiropractic Association.
He was preceded in death by his parents; an infant son; and a sister, Helen Erwin Powell.
Survivors include one daughter, Rhonda Mason of Rosie; stepson, Kyle Jett; stepdaughter, Hollie Bayles (Shawn) of Fayetteville; brothers, Dave Erwin (Ola Mae) of Eaton, Tony Erwin (Mary) of Black Rock, and Robert Erwin of Nashville, Tennessee; sister, Ellen Erwin of Batesville; five grandchildren, Justan Taylor, Jessan Taylor, Jarrad Taylor (Somer), Steven Trevor Shrum (Samantha) and Sylia Bayles; eight great-grandchildren, Laysen Shrum, Brennan Taylor, Jeremiah Taylor, Joseph Macaller, Benjamin Ohalloran, Bryson Ball, Addi Ball, and Elayna Ball; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Memorial services will be held at a later date. Arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.
