Ruby Lee Vanpelt, 82 of Batesville died Sunday, December 20, 2020 at the White River Medical Center in Batesville. She was born on May 9, 1938 in Yuma, Arizona to Mildred Riverside of Utah and Lee Roy Neeley of Joplin, Missouri. Ruby loved to sing, play music, dance and go places with her karaoke machines. She loved being with her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two daughters, Trina Randels and Trish Cox.
Survivors include two sons, Tony Cox (Christina) and Tim Cox (Shay) both of Batesville; sister, Cora Lee Scott of Council Bluffs, Iowa; brother, Richard Neeley of Batesville; grandchildren, Kenny Cox, Patricia Roach, Christopher Cox, Robert Cox, Shannon Cox, James Gage, Casey Cox, Scott Wiltrout and Jason Cox; great grandchildren, Brynley Cox, Adley Cox, Dacey Roach, Delta Cox, Denver Cox, Westen Cox, Channing Cox, Eli Cox, Emma Wiltrout, Jase Brooks, Autumn Brooks and a host of other relatives and friends.
Graveside services will be Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. at Egner Cemetery in Salado. Arrangements are by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service.
Pallbearers will be Kenny Cox, Christopher Cox, Robert Cox, Shannon Cox, Scott Wiltrout and Braxton Roach.
Honorary pallbearers are Jason Cox and Gerald W. Cupler.
