Russell Edward Pfitzner

Russell Edward Pfitzner, 99 of Cave City passed away Friday, December 4, 2020. He was born February 15, 1921 in Waldwick, New Jersey to Edward Russell and Harriett Lockwood Pfitzner.  He was a retired accountant, a U.S. Army Veteran and a member of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Batesville.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Beulah Pfitzner and one son, Russell E. Pfitzner.

Survivors include one son, Edward Pfitzner (Ruby) of Cave City; six grandchildren, Russell Pfitzner (Kelly) of Batesville, Bryon Pfitzner (Shelley) of Batesville, Jessica Bergeron of Monticello, Lisa Runyan (Paul) of Cave City, Debbie Asberry (Gregg) of Sidney and Marcia Lawrence (Shannon) of Batesville; one brother, Harold Pfitzner of Unionville, New York; one sister, Jean Stegan of New York; fourteen great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Graveside memorial services will be held at a later date in New Jersey. Arrangements are by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.
