Sarah Marie Chambliss

Sarah Marie Chambliss, 39, of Batesville, Arkansas died Saturday, October 6, 2018 at the White River Medical Center in Batesville. She was born January 19, 1979 in Batesville, Arkansas to Brenda Wilkerson Chambliss and Ernie Chambliss. She worked as a licensed practical nurse and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Cave City. Sarah was a graduate of Midland High School where she loved to participate in music and drama. She then went on to graduate at ASU Newport and became a LPN. Her passion was for the elderly and she loved working in local nursing homes. She loved her dachshunds, Nellie, her first baby, and had just gotten a new puppy, Allie. Sarah loved to travel and just be with family and friends. Sarah always had a smile and a hug to share with anyone she came in contact with. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Barton Neil Chambliss of the home; her maternal grandparents, Neil and Wanda Wilkerson of Cave City; and her paternal grandparents, Lyle and Dolores Chambliss of Union Hill.

Survivors include her mother, Brenda Wilkerson Chambliss of the home; her father and stepmother, Ernie and Mashelle Chambliss of Floral; stepmother, Yolanda Pate of Pleasant Plains; two brothers, Grant (Yancey) Chambliss and Gavin Chambliss of Velvet Ridge; her uncle, David (Holly) Wilkerson of Batesville; four aunts, Leah (Scott) Wright of Strawberry, Jeanette (Bill) Warden of Denmark, Carol (Bill) Endicott of Newport, and Diana (Scott) Cowell of Union Hill; cousins, Ben (Brittney) Hightower, Joe (Lauren) Hightower of Columbia, Missouri, Bart (Kayley) Wilkerson of Batesville, Shea  (Josh), Ade, and Jovee of Jonesboro, Patrick (Vanessa) Killian of Montgomery, Alabama, Michelle Killian of Missouri, Bill (Ashley) Warden Jr. of Denmark, Lindsey Allen of Denmark, Brandon Chance of Thida, Shawn Chance of Thida, and Andrea Pulley of Oil Trough; nephew, Brantly Chambliss and niece, Kelsey Chambliss of Velvet Ridge; several more relatives and a host of friends.

Graveside services will be Tuesday, October 9, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at the Wilkerson Cemetery near Grange with Bro. Ron Canard officiating. Arrangements by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service.

Visitation will be Monday, October 8, 2018 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Pallbearers are Ben Hightower, Joe Hightower, Bart Wilkerson, Grant Chambliss, Gavin Chambliss, and Bill Warden Jr.

Honorary Pallbearers are Bob Treadway, Gary Hodge, Brandon Mohlke, and Bryson Mohlke.
