Sedney Younger

Sedney Younger, 80, of Marcella died Monday, February 4, 2019 at his home. He was born September 28, 1938 at St. James, Arkansas to Truman and Martha Mildred Anderson Younger. He was a member of the Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Robert Charles Younger; and one grandson, Timothy David Younger.

Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Sandra Younger of the home; two sons, David Sidney Younger (Rebecca) of Melbourne and Daniel Timothy Younger (Megan) of Pleasant Grove; three daughters, Sandra Marie Little (Ray) of Cave City, May Ruth Younger of Marcella, and Marsha Lynn Younger of Cave City; one brother, Sammy Leon Younger (Lana) of Missouri; one sister, Maggie Viola Priddy (Clint) of Batesville; 16 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be Friday, February 8, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at the Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church with Bro. Gary Don Fletcher officiating. Burial will follow in the St. James Cemetery with arrangements by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service.

Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the church.
