Shirley Marie (Morrow) Carnett

Shirley Marie Morrow Carnett was born March 26, 1936 to Holly Morrow and Jewel Weathers David in Staton, Texas. She was a good Christian woman who loved the Lord. She worked at ConAgra for 23 years. She enjoyed working in her flower gardens and reading. She found joy in the simple pleasures of life, especially in the company of her family and friends, creating memories that will last forever.

Preceded in death by her father and step mother; mother and step father; husband, John Carnett; brother, Richard Morrow; sisters, Judy Davis Morris, Wanda Morrow Gray, and Sondra Morrow Marshall; grandson, Cody McKay.

Left the cherish her memory is her daughter, Yuvonda (Vonda) Headley (James); one grandson, Scott Gray (Jillian) of Florida; one granddaughter, Mendy Rhoades (Michael) of Sidney; two great grandsons; two great granddaughters; one great great grandson; one great great granddaughter; one brother, Francis Wayne Morrow of Texas; two sisters, Joyce Morrow Poor (Tommy) of Texas and Darla Morrow Blackmon of Texas; brother in law- Billy Morris of Alpena along with several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Graveside services will be Tuesday, March 25, 2025, 2:00 P.M. at Lee’s Chapel Cemetery off Hwy 25 in Moorefield with Bro. Allen Brown officiating.
