Stanley Wayne Penn, 82 of Cave City died Monday, June 11, 2018. He was born July 25, 1935 at Lynn, Arkansas to Palmer and Cora (Jones) Penn. He was a U.S. Army Veteran and a retired truck driver. He attended the First Missionary Baptist Church in Cave City.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Jerry Dale Penn.
Survivors include his wife of 58 years Barbara Lassiter Penn of the home; one son, Greg Penn (Cheryl) of Cave City; two daughters, Becky Marlin of Cave City and Dana Penn (David) of Hoxie; two brothers, Wayburn Penn (Carol) of Jacksonville and Vernon Penn (Chris) of Jamestown, California; two sisters, Nina Ruth Oliver of Hot Springs and Jo Ann Barnhart (Wayne) of Kansas City, Kansas; six grandchildren, Brandon Penn (Beth), Amy Penn, Bevin Marlin (Kayla), Travis Penn, Kaitlyn Penn and Dakota Dale; thirteen great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be Friday, June 15, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at the First Missionary Baptist Church in Cave City with Bro. Ron Canard officiating. Burial will follow in the Cave City Cemetery with arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.
Visitation will be Thursday, June 14, 2018 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Roger Penn, Jeremy Penn, Richard Penn, Boyce Penn, Kevin Felts and Randy Caldwell.
Honorary pallbearers are his grandsons and granddaughters.
