Star Matlock

Star Matlock, 74 of Sidney died Thursday, November 14, 2019. She was born May 29, 1945 at Vacaville, California to Mack and Doran Westbrook.  She was a beautician,a dog groomer and co-founder and co-owner of White River Groom and Board and Complete Pet in Batesville.  She was a member of the Sidney Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Leona Westbrook.

Survivors include her husband of 54 years, Charles Matlock Sr.; two sons, Charles Matlock Jr. and Michael Matlock both of Batesville; one sister, Paula Jackson (Andy) of Cave City; one granddaughter; Madalyn Matlock; a niece, Ashley Manning (John) of Cave City; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be Saturday, November 16, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at the Qualls Funeral Home Chapel in Cave City with Bro. Bob Majors officiating. Burial will follow in the Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Batesville.

Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.

Pallbeaers will be Wendell Westbrook, Rodney Henderson, Tony Williams, Chuck Manning, Bryson Neeley and Ronnie Westbrook.

Honorary pallbearers are Paul Don Carter and Members of the Sidney Volunteer Fire Department.
