Stephen W. Anderson

Stephen W. Anderson, 73 of Southside passed away Sunday, December 12, 2021.  He was born February 10, 1948 in Batesville, Arkansas to James Vernon and Dorothy Mae Mount Anderson.  He was retired from Arkansas Eastman in Batesville and a U.S. Navy Veteran.  He was a member of the Central Avenue United Methodist Church in Batesville.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, James Vernon Anderson Jr.

Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Gail Anderson of the home; one daughter, Angela Hill of Southside; one brother, William David Anderson (Becky) of Augusta; three grandchildren, Kira Hill (Tori), Sara Hill and Tyler Hooper (Whitney); one great grandchild, Joanna Mae Hooper; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Graveside services will be Wednesday, December 15, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at the Oaklawn Cemetery in Batesville with Rev. Paul Doan officiating.  Arrangements are by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service.

Visitation will be Wednesday, December 15, 2021 from 12:30 until 1:30 p.m. at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Rodney Wintz, Will Anderson, Erik Gonzales, Tyler Hooper, Stephen Grigsby, Alex Gonzales, Dustin Bachman and Austin Taylor.

Honorary pallbearer is Dr. J.R. Baker
