Steve Gahring

Steve Gahring departed this life on Tuesday, June 20, 2023 at his home in Ash Flat, Arkansas at the age of 62. He was born January 19, 1961 in Iowa City, Iowa. Steve has been a hard worker all his life. He worked at a sale barn working with animals. He went from state to state selling furniture. He worked for a lawn company; mowing yards etc., he always kept busy and enjoyed everything he did. Everyone loved him.

Steve is preceded in death by his father, Richard Gahring and his mother, Vera Dennis and Charley Dennis who took him in as his own son and Steve considered him his dad. He is also preceded in death by his brother, Gary Dennis of Pinetop, Arizona.

Steve is survived by two sisters, Trish Kunkel of Evening Shade, Arkansas and Sherill Yarbrough of Fisher, Arkansas; also surviving, his special niece, Emily Dennis and a special great niece, Peyton Riley both of Lakeside, Arizona; other nieces and nephews; and other relatives and many friends.

Steve had many friends, two of which were his special friends, Shannon and Stephen Powell of Ash Flat, Arkansas who have helped him throughout his life. Steve enjoyed being with his friends and family and enjoyed walking and running five miles a day.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date.

Steve will be missed by all.
