Texelda Faye Lockard, 81, of Maumelle died Sunday, October 14, 2018. She was born October 21, 1936 at Pleasant Ridge, Arkansas to Roy Herman and Hattie Martha Bell Moody. She was a retired kindergarten teacher, member of Master Gardeners, and attended New Life Church in Maumelle.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Carl Dudley Lockard; three brothers, Emuel Moody, Ethan Moody, and Dan Moody; and one sister, Libbie Cothren.
Survivors include two daughters, Carla Milligan (Eddie) of Maumelle and Kaye Standridge (Philip) of Mt. Ida; one brother, Eulon Moody (Viola) of Greers Ferry; four grandchildren, Micah Milligan (Katelyn), Hannah Milligan, Cody Standridge (Amanda), and Amber Wolf (Sam); five great-grandchildren, Jace Standridge, Jax Standridge, Jordyn Kate Standridge, Jenna Faith Standridge, and Aiden Nally; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be Saturday, October 20, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at the Qualls Batesville Funeral Service Chapel in Batesville. Burial will follow in the Shiloh Crossroads Cemetery located at Greers Ferry.
Visitation will be Friday, October 19, 2018 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Eddie Milligan, Micah Milligan, Philip Standridge, Cody Standridge, Randy Milligan, and Sam Wolf.
